Local Authority School

Bishop Reindorp School in Guildford, Surrey was the victim of extensive fire damage in November 2002. Bequip were called in to instigate a full cleaning and reinstatement programme in partnership with the main contractors.

Our schedule included 45% of the school's scientific resources, 30% of the school's general teaching resources, the entire school library stock and the commercial catering facility.

At the same time our commercial cleaning team began systematic decontamination of the building structure and furniture in readiness for the building/ decorating contractors.

Despite losing over a third of its teaching capacity the school was reopened to students within a week and was fully operational within 6 months.
